PRODRILL FT The pneumatic folding combination seed drill is the most professional model in our seeding equipment r ange, and
represents the latest state of the art.
The pneumatic distribution system forces seeds thro ugh the distributor apparatus by propelling them wi th an air current
generated by a fan; the seeds are then conveyed alo ng delivery tubes into furrows cut in the soil by t he furrowing
assemblies.
The furrowing assemblies (disk or coulter) are equi pped with seed-covering devices.
The pneumatic folding seed drill can only be combined with a folding power harrow.
It consists of a hopper mounted at the front of the tractor for loading seeds and two seeding devices hitched to the rear
of the tractor.
This solution, in addition to balancing the weight distribution of the tractor-seed drill assembly, co nsiderably reduces
soil preparation times and allows for wider working widths ( up to 6 / 7 m).
A further feature of this combination system is its ability to meter and place seeds at even and regul ar intervals on any
sloping terrain, by propelling the seeds with a str eam of low-pressure air which prevents them being d amaged in any
way.
This combination can also be disassembled for stand alone use of the folding power harrow.
When used for simultaneous soil preparation and see ding, this combination system generates an even mor e effective
