In recent years, the capabilities of contemporary mobile
d e v i c e sh a v eb e e ni m p r o v i n gal o t .Th e s ec a p a b i l i t i e s ,s u c has significant computational resources, multiple communi-cation radios, various sensor modules, and high level pro-gramming languages, enable mobile devices to form mobilecyber-physical system (CPS) in our daily lives. Mobile CPSintegratesdistributedsensingwithcomputingandubiquitousconnectivityofInternet.Also,mobileCPScoordinatescom-putational, virtual, and physical resources and facilitates theinteraction of digital world with physical world, potentiallydrivingthepervasiveeffectinthecitizens’everydaylifeany-time and anywhere. Thus, mobile CPS could provide a con-venientandeconomicalplatformthatfacilitatessophisticatedand ubiquitous intelligent applications between humans andthesurroundingphysicalworld.MobileCPScouldfindappli-
cability in multiple areas and disciplines, including (but not

The paper “Sliding Window Based Feature Extraction
and Traffic Clustering for Green Mobile Cyber-PhysicalS y s t e m s ”f o c u s e so nag r e e nm o b i l ec y b e r – p h y s i c a ls y s t e mto ensure network coverage and to reduce the total energyconsumption, which proposes a feature extraction methodusing sliding window to extract the distribution feature ofmobileuserequipment(UE).Furthermore,trafficclusteringanalysis and corresponding optimized control strategy arepresentedfortherapidcontrolofbasestations.Experimental
results demonstrate the superior performance of the pro-
posed method in terms of UE coverage compared with thegridmethod.
The paper “An Anonymous Access Authentication
S c h e m eB a s e do nP r o x yR i n gS i g n a t u r ef o rC P S – W M N s ”proposes a novel anonymous access authentication schemebased on proxy ring signature to address the anonymousaccess authentication issue for CPS-Wireless Mesh Network(CPS-WMN). In the scheme, a hierarchical authenticationarchitecture is presented firstly. Then, intergroup and intra-group anonymous mutual authentication are carried outthrough proxy ring signature mechanism and certificatelesssignature mechanism, respectively. A formal security proofwith SVO logic and simulation results demonstrate thesecurityandtheperformanceoftheproposedscheme.

Thepaper“ImprovedObjectProposalswithGeometrical
Features for Autonomous Driving” aims at generating high
quality object proposals for object detection in autonomousdriving, which proposes several geometrical features suitedfor autonomous driving and integrates them into currentgeneral proposal generation methods. Experiments over
KITTI benchmark demonstrate the significant performance

The paper “A Formal Approach to Verify Parameterized
Protocols in Mobile Cyber-Physical Systems” targets thechallenging task of protocol verification in mobile CPS andproposes a formal approach to verify the safety propertiesof parameterized protocols. In this approach, the protocolis modeled as a Petri net using counterabstraction; then averification algorithm is presented to verify the Petri netmodel.Experimentalresultsshowhighercapabilitybutlowermemoryconsumptioncomparedwithexistingapproaches.
