People say that a monster lives in Loch Ness. Loch Ness is in
Scotland. “Loch” is a Scottish word – it means “lake”. The monster’s name
is Nessie . The lake is between two hills and it is 250 metres de ep. Only the
first metre of water in the lake is clear; the rest is not clear and it is difficult
to see what is in the lake.
We do not know what Nessie is. Some people say that Nessie is a big
fish; others say that Nessie is a dinosaur or a dragon. In 19 33 and 1944 some
people saw the monster in the lake.
Some say that Nessie has got a long neck and a small head; others say that Nessie has got a short
