Chapter 1. General design
1.1. About Design
The design deals with creating a plan or agreement for the construction of an object or system. [1]
The design has different connotations in different areas (see design disciplines below). In some
cases, direct construction of an object (as in ceramics, engineering, management, and graphic
design) is also considered to be design.
More formally defined de sign as follows.
(Substrantiv) a specification of an object, manifested by an agent designed to achieve objectives in a
certain environment, using a set of primitive components, satisfying a set of requirements, subject
to constraints;
(Verb, transitive) t o create a design, in an environment (the designer activated). [2]
Another definition is to design a roadmap or a strategic approach for someone to get a unique
calling. It defines, plans, specifications, parameters, costs, activities, processes required t o obtain an
object in a legal, political, social. [3]
Here, as the "specification" design can manifest as either a plan or a finished product and "primitive"
elements of design object is composed.
With such a denotation, there is no universal language or u nifying institution for designers of all
disciplines. This allows many different philosophies and approaches to the subject.
The person dealing with the creation of design is called designer who is also a term used for people
who work professionally in one of the various areas of design (design), specifying in what area
activated (such as a fashion designer designer, concept, etc.)
The sequence of activities is called the design process designer or design. [4] [5] [6] [7]
The design often requires considera tion of aesthetic composition, economic and sociopolitical such
as design object and design process. This may involve considerable research, thought, modeling,
adjusting and re -design. Meanwhile, various types of objects can be designed, including clothing ,
graphical interfaces, skyscrapers, corporate identity, business processes and even design methods.
