Fraction Dice Games
MIDDLE MUDDLE ( comparing & ordering fractions – 3 players)
All players roll their di ce and write down the fraction created. Then ,
students arrange the three fractions in order from smallest to largest
to see which fraction falls in the middle. The person w ho rolled the
middle fraction earns 1 point.
Player 1 ’s fraction Player 2 ’s fraction Player 3 ’s fraction

FORWARDS & ONWARDS (comparing fractions – 2 players)
The goal is to be the player with the largest rolled fraction at the end
of the round. Each player records their roll and decides whether to:
1- roll in an attempt to roll a larger fraction or 2 – player may
choose to freeze. (You may not use your first fraction if you choose to
roll again. ) The person with the larger fraction gets a point.
Your fraction < > = Partner’s Fraction
