Introduction /
Purpose of the paper Remote con trol systems allow remote control of objects that
are involved in specific processes of transport systems. Initial
applications of remo te control systems were specificaly,
railway applications, that where mecha nical signals and
switches operated remotely. [3] Lately all transport modes
benefit from applications of remote systems (remote actuation
of traffic lights, barriers, etc.). Thus the term remote systems
may overlap the telematics and are obviously both included in
intelligent transport systems. In general, remote control
systems, defines a mas ter-slave type hierarchy in which a
central station (PC) , that has all the functionalities that allow an
operator to control the system, control objects in a post (PL).
All systems have remote control and remote control component
(remote control), it is im portant to provide feedback on items
ordered from the local station.
Theoretical
background /
Research problem In Romania incidents on railway infrastructure and traffic
are numerous, closely li nked to the disappearance of physical
components of the equip ment and automation tread. Therefore,
in this work the authors have proposed to make engine control
remotely using this software for Lab View.
Approach /
Research m ethodology The authors have proposed to make engine control remotely
using this software f or Lab View. Order trains, in this case
engines, can be achieved without too many hardware
complications, a single wire connection or wireless
connectivity. Thus, a controller can remotely command and
control a motor, thus avoiding certain events of traffic , such as
collisions.
Results /
Main f indings The technology today has advanced so much that any
application can be projected directly from home, using
LabVIEW or other software.
Command trains in our case engines can be achieved
without too many complica tions hardware, a single wire
connection or wireless connectivity can be achieved order. The
logic makes it all possible. Thus, a controller can realize the
command and control of a motor or any wish.

Original aspects In this paper, a general structure of a data acquisition system is
presented, which can take orders placed by an operator using a
UI (user interface) , forms a remote message, sends the message
from the central station to the local station, extracts information
command and con trol objects in the local station.
